Maintenance / Handyperson - £15.00 Per Hour, Permanent Contract, Full-Time

iSupported Housing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance / Handyperson to join our team in the supported accommodation sector. This is a demanding role that requires extensive knowledge in property maintenance and management across a large number of properties in Birmingham, Kidderminster, Telford, and Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance

• Perform a variety of repairs, including joinery, carpentry, painting, and minor plumbing.
• Complete repairs promptly and within target response times.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and good communication with staff and tenants.
• Ensure properties are left clean and debris-free after completing work.
• Provide excellent customer service to all iSupported Housing tenants.

Grounds Maintenance

• Carry out grounds maintenance duties, such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, and litter picking across the property portfolio.
• Ensure gardens and sites are clean and debris-free after completing work.
• Removal of rubbish

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Friendly personality
• Ability to work independently
• Hardworking and proactive
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Initiative to find and complete tasks to maintain properties to the highest standard
• Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside regular working hours
• A DBS check is required due to working with vulnerable people

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
