In this pivotal role, you will be the linchpin in ensuring the smooth operation of all essential services, from heating and lighting to plumbing, as well as overseeing the upkeep of non-medical equipment.
Successful candidate will:
1. Take the lead in maintaining and servicing the home's vital systems, ensuring comfort and safety for all.
2. Apply your tradesman skills proactively to resolve any technical issues swiftly.
3. Manage a variety of longer-term projects, such as refurbishments and redecorations, enhancing the home's appeal and functionality.
4. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
5. Coordinate with external contractors and oversee their work to ensure it meets the high standards expected.
6. Take pride in contributing to the overall well-being of residents through your meticulous maintenance work.
Desirable Experience:
1. Proven experience in a trade such as mechanical, electrical, carpentry, or other building disciplines.
2. A track record of managing maintenance operations within a similar setting.
3. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and daily tasks efficiently.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities to address maintenance issues promptly.
5. Experience in managing refurbishment and redecoration projects.
