Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading processors of food waste recycling, they are at the forefront of their field and of environmentally safe renewable energy. The company in question are looking for a Site manager at their site in London
Job Role:
To pro-actively manage & take responsibility for the whole site operation. You will be responsible for the highest safety and environmental standards, ensure the site operates to maximise a cost effective and efficient output. As a site manager you will be responsible for all of the above but also people management, development, and training responsibility for the whole site, including recruitment and staff appraisals.
Typical Duties will involve:

• Maintain maximum effectiveness and benefit from existing site equipment.
• Assist with development of new manufacturing methods.
• Providing regular reporting to the leadership team on the plant's performance.
• To ensure all work is completed in compliance with safe working procedures.
• People management, internal development, and appraisals.

Desirable experience

• You will ideally hold a qualification or possess experience in materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights and first aid.
• Training will be provided to achieve the internal Competency Management Standards (WAMITAB) and a NEBOSH general certificate if these are not already held.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Manufacturing / Process experience with evidence of PPM delivery and control
• Will be open to further personal development in line with the Company training plan.

• Must be eligible to work in UK.
• Must have a UK driving licence.
