Maintenance Manager (Fixed Term For 12 Months To Cover Maternity Leave)

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of the maintenance service to provide a high-quality customer focus and cost-effective maintenance and improvement service to our tenants in relation to both preventative and response maintenance.(Fixed Term for 12months to cover Maternity leave).

Relevant third level qualification

5 years proven Property Management experience with at least 2 of those at a supervisory level

Proven track record in formulating and delivering programmes to performance targets, budget and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction

Strong proven procurement and contract management experience relating to the delivery of work programmes

Knowledge and Experience of managing Measured Term Contracts and proven track record of delivery

Strong project management skills and proven track record of delivery

Knowledge of relevant legislation, and current issues within the housing sector

Ability to build and manage collaborative relationships with a range of stake holders and contracting organisations

Relevant professional qualification/membership of relevant professional body

A working knowledge of EU and NI Public Procurement Policy

Previous experience of working in a Housing Association, Northern Ireland Housing Executive or Local Authority Housing Department

Experience of working with a Board of Directors

Knowledge of the statutory requirements for Housing Association stock management and procurement including the Department for Social DfC Association Guide
