Maintenance Plumber/ Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated plumber to join our team located in Flitwick. The plumber will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the plumbing side of things on site. This is a full-time permanent position based on 2 sites in Flitwick.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: Up to £36,000 (Salary dependent on experience and qualifications)
Working hours: 40 hours per week / call out allowance.
Your new role
- To be responsible for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of mechanical building services.
- To undertake regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operations of heating and water systems.
- To undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure plant and equipment in the buildings are in safe working order.
- To undertake flushing of water systems and to maintain all records for legionella/water hygiene related works.
- To work as part of a multi-trade team to maintain and carry out additional repairs to the fabric of the building.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a plumbing role in a commercial setting.
- Minimum NVQ/C&G Level 2 in Plumbing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
