Maintenance Supervisor - Resident Safety

Location: Based at Telford (Hybrid working arrangement) with travel across operational areas; Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
Salary: £42,332 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
We have a number of exciting new job opportunities available due to the investment and growth of our Resident Safety team.
What you will be doing:
As the Maintenance Supervisor (Resident Safety), you will play a crucial role in ensuring building safety (fire/structural) and property compliance for the Group's communal residential and commercial properties. You will lead a team of employees, supervise the Resident Safety Technicians, and contribute to the continuous improvement of services focused on property safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key objectives:
Supervise a team to ensure building safety and property compliance.
Assist in building-related health and safety requirements.
Monitor systems for repairs, building compliance, and maintenance tasks to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure team productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
Supervise and support the Resident Safety Technician in property safety and compliance works.
Contribute to continuous improvement with a focus on property safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
Relevant trade-based qualification and experience.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team.
Ability to assess and maintain high-quality standards in property safety and compliance.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and legislation related to property maintenance.
