Are you an experienced and motivated Maintenance Team Leader who can drive continuous improvement in machine availability and performance? Do you have a passion for engineering and a commitment to health and safety? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's team at the Cramlington manufacturing site.

As Maintenance Team Leader you will support the Engineering Manager in running an efficient and effective engineering department, ensuring all assets perform in line with operational requirements. You will supervise and motivate the engineering team, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in preventive and reactive maintenance activities. You will also support the Engineering Manager in site projects, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Management and leadership experience in a production environment
Team building skills
Effective communication skills
Positive attitude
18th Edition wiring regulations
Operate MEWP - preferred but not essential
Knowledge of ATEX regulations
Experience in electrical fault finding, testing and repairs
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety procedures
Compliance with the 6S activities and hygiene rules
