Maintenance Technician

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Building Services Company in their search for a Maintenance Technician to work in their leading facility in Chester
For the successful Maintenance Technician, our client is offering:
I. GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum
II. 9 am 5 pm
III. 1 in 3 weekend works required Flexible days during the week
IV. Permanent Position
V. Company Pension

The role - Maintenance Technician:
I. Adhere to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of the site, keeping up-to-date & accurate records.
II. Follow the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule; working as part of the team to deliver effectively on time & within budget.
III. Maintain the plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards and ensure all plant and equipment are maintained.
IV. Be proactive, use your initiative, and take ownership of situations.
V. Proactively anticipate potential safety hazards and be prepared to undertake any emergency actions required.
VI. Ensure all work carried out is done within the H&S requirements.
VII. Work as part of the wider team, demonstrating a professional & courteous manner to members, and assisting with queries they may have.
VIII. Inducting subcontractors, reviewing rams, and assisting where possible.
IX. Working with the lead engineer and reporting back to the client.
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Technician:
I. NVQ Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher (ESSENTIAL)
II. Experience in a similar role (ESSENTIAL)
III. IT Literate (ESSENTIAL)
