Maintenance Technician

Reed Engineering are currently working in partnership with a large international manufacturing business located in Winsford who are due to growth are looking to recruit for a forward thinking Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician working days.

Duties of the role include:

• The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities are completed in the most effective manner for the benefit of the business, including but not exclusive to routine and schedule work, breakdown resolution, supply of maintenance and equipment spares, parts, tools and consumables
• Will be responsible to work with contractor and service providers ensuring activities are in accordance with maintenance schedules
• Responsible for the completion of servicing and maintenance work of machines and equipment as well as deal with unplanned breakdowns and repairs.
• Responsible for the completion, maintenance and submission of reports and data to support monitoring and analysis of machine, equipment and resources including labour deployment and efficiency
• Responsible for the support the coaching, training and development of others in maintenance activities to ensure that they have the best available skills and knowledge to effect activities in a timely manner.

Experience:

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
• Reading & understanding of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings
• Hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical knowledge
• Plant Services i.e. Pumps, Air Compressors and Water Chillers
• PLC’s programming and fault finding is advantageous
