Due to a period of sustained growth they are looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Key Duties:
- The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Senior Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing site.
- The primary focus of this role is to support machine breakdowns & repairs, handle routine preventive maintenance, support in analysing machine data, and assist in various proactive initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for managing specific tasks related to safety protocols, spares management, routine inspections, machinery breakdown troubleshooting, and possess the following qualifications.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Time-served multi-skilled Technician, with either electrical or mechanical bias considered acceptable.
- Proficient in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Good I.T. skills, with the ability to use relevant maintenance management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with factory staff and management.
- Flexible approach to work to meet production demands.
- Strong safety ethos with experience in implementing safe systems of work.
- Desirable but not essential: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience.
- Desirable but not essential: Robotics experience.
- Desirable but not essential: CNC and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) experience.
- Desirable but not essential: Experience in facilities maintenance.
The Package:
- £35,000 per annum.
- Day shift working hours, Monday-Friday with flexible/start finish times if needed.
