A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician at Banham:
- Repair work, such as fixing doors, furniture, desks, and other items that require attention.
Address minor electrical or plumbing issues. - Communicating with wider teams such as cleaning staff or managers to ensure a seamless workflow and to gather feedback on ongoing maintenance issues.
- Conducting routine checks to ensure the office is complying with health and safety regulations, and identifying hazards.
- Reporting major issues or recommendations to management.
- Ad hoc duties such as watering the plants, building office furniture, assembling light fixtures, and any other general maintenance needs.
What can you bring to Banham?
- Have a general list of property maintenance skills, including an electrical qualification, some plumbing abilities, carpentry, painting & decorating.
- Must have a can-do attitude, and be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Possess a ‘get the job done attitude’, great time keeping skills, and be able honest and reliable.
- You will work closely with the wider teams at Banham, and on your own. A diverse skill set of initiative and being coachable is essential.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- Must have a clean UK driving license.
- Must be willing to travel to sites all around London and the South East of England.
