As a Make-Up Artist you will use your extensive knowledge and training to advise customers on make-up and piercing services that leaves them with “That Superdrug Feeling”. Your role is to deliver the make-up service to customers, engaging with them, teaching techniques as they go, and upselling other services and products.
You will stay ahead of trends that will mean that your customers are keen to try something new each time they visit.

You will interact with your Superdrug customers by proactively improving awareness of our Make-Up services by promoting our Make-Up offering in store
Taking ownership for sales and profitability in store
Using specialist knowledge on make-up to sell products to customers
Working with the store management and team to deliver an exceptional service to everyone, always making the customer number one
Develop positive relationships with in-store colleagues and Management teams.
Create Make Up “looks”, based on customer needs which open up opportunities for product purchase
Use social media regularly to inspire and build awareness and generate excitement of Beauty Studio and our Make-up service

To be considered for this role:*
You enjoy selling cosmetics & cosmetics application
You know you add value through your strong communication and application skills
You understand how to explain & show how cosmetics application can enhance a customer’s features
You are good at talking to people and applying cosmetics
You can easily make connections with people
You have developed the ability to have proven KPIs with make-up application (sales & service examples)
You are motivated by self-development by keeping up to date with key MUAs and trends in the industry
You get satisfaction though delighting customers through your excellent application & communication skills
What you’ll need to succeed
You need to have significant experience in make-up application in a retail environment
A MUA course qualification would be valuable
Experience in the beauty industry
You will need a creative mindset and awareness of current trends and interests in the make-up field
Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills
You will have working knowledge of make-up application and skin care
