GSL Education’s Hull branch are seeking to hire SEN Teaching Assistant (preferably of Male gender) for a Special Educational Needs School located in Hull and East Riding for an immediate start. The school seeks someone to support its students with ASC, MLD, SLCN and Mental Health. The selection of applicants will be based on a trial day within the school.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:
- Level 2/3 SEN Qualification
- At least one year of SEN support experience in a school setting
- Experience supporting SEN students and delivering activities on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Experience in assessing, evaluating,and reporting on pupil progress
- Comfortable to support children and young people on a 1: 1 and small groups
- Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through GSL Education
- Be able to provide two professional school-based references.
