Management Accountant - 12mftc

Element Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a business going through an exciting period of change and transformation, as they look to hire a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and with several senior exec stakeholders, this role will oversee the reporting, analysis and delivery of the monthly management accounts. You will be hands on in the production of timely and accurate reporting, whilst working with the wider business to understand performance and analyse variances and trends. You will be involved with budget setting and rolling forecasting, along with balance sheet management, as well as supporting wider audit activities. You will also gain exposure to a pivotal project for the business, upgrading their finance ERP.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant, however part qualified or qualified by experience will be considered. You will ideally have experience of SAP or another larger finance ERP, with strong Microsoft Excel skills. You will consider yourself to be a good business partner, with the experience and confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.

This role is based near Newport, with 2-3 days per week in the office on a hybrid working basis. A salary of up to £55,000 is offered on an initial 12 month, fixed term contract basis and you will ideally be available to start within the next 6 weeks.
