SalaryGrafton Banks Finance is working with a fast-growing international business to recruit a newly created Management Accountant role.
This business has recently completed a significant acquisition and has lots of exciting growth plans. This role will support the Financial Controller with the preparation of management and financial accounting.
We are looking for a finalist or recently qualified accountant who is experienced producing month end management accounting and reporting. You need to be strong analytically and comfortable manipulating data in Excel and will be at ease communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Key tasks:
- Support the production of monthly Management Accounts across multiple entities.
- Preparation of key month end journals including Payroll, Sales Rebates, General accruals, and Prepayments.
- Assist with the Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Intercompany reconciliations, monthly journals, and recharges.
- Prepare and submission of monthly VAT returns for UK, and other EU countries.
- Assist in Cashflow Management, including processing FX trades in-line with company Hedging Strategy.
- Manage the accounts payable team and weekly payment process.
- Manage Fixed Asset Register including all additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation process.
This role will be hybrid working with 3 days per week in our clients Hove offices. Salary for this role is £50,000 + 25 days holiday, pension, and shares.
