Management Accountant

Business Services group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, have an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join it s central finance team and support the business through a period of sustained growth and development.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the Management Accountant position will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts in a timely manner including the accurate posting of all accruals and prepayments;Support annual budgeting process and monthly rolling reforecasting, providing detailed analysis on any variances;Ensure monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations are completed and posted correctly;Work closely with the Financial Accounting team with provision of information requests from external auditors;Support ad hoc project as and when required including review of internal processes, implementing effective improvements where required.
