Management Accountant

My client is a fast growing e-commerce business. As a Management Accountant, you will join the finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business. My client is looking for someone with a background in e-commerce who is eager to develop their skills further in an international e-commerce business.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely management reporting to business stakeholders, producing financial statements, analyzing financial information to assist with business profitability and growth, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and reviewing accounting/business processes and practices to improve efficiency.

Duties of the role will include:

• Provide accurate and timely management reporting to assist to business stakeholders.
• Produce month end and year end journals.
• Prepare management accounts.
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and board packs.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Lead, manage and develop a small finance team.
• Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Working on a US subsidiary as the main point of contact.

The right candidate for this role will be;

• Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or Finalist Level
• Demonstrable track record in a high-growth e-commerce business.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and expert user of MS Excel.
• Proactive, structured, and disciplined approach to work.
• Ability to identify and support ad hoc project requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
