MacKenzie King are seeking a Management Accountant for an impressive financial/professional services business based in Ipswich. Reporting into the Financial Controller the purpose of your role will be to ensure the delivery of high quality financial and management information.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the business. You'll be at the forefront of analysing data, providing insights, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive profitability and growth.
Accountabilities and main responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and other analysis as required.
- Calculation and posting of revenue accruals/deferrals, cost accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Fixed asset accounting.
- Preparation and control of month end reconciliations and the production of the Management Reporting pack.
- Cost analysis.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Intercompany invoicing and transaction processing.
- Support and assist with the yearend audit process to ensure completion of the annual audit and delivery of statutory accounts.
- Support the production of the quarterly vat return.
- Preparation of budgets and reforecasts
- Ensuring adherence to Finance policies and procedures and identifying where controls could be improved.
