Job Description
Based in Brighton, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing management accounts, bookkeeping and business advisory services to a diverse range of businesses, including creative and entrepreneurial companies.
There will also be the requirement to help train and mentor more junior members of staff, as well as reviewing work.
There is also the opportunity to get involved in other areas of compliance accounting and taxation if desired, but this isn't a necessity.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
- At least 2 years' experience working in a management accounts/bookkeeping role. Ideally within a practice environment, but industry candidates will be considered too.
- AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or studying towards a relevant qualification.
- Experience using Xero or other similar cloud accounting software.
- A team player, willing to help support other members of staff.
- Strong technical and problem solving skills.
What's on Offer
Salary circa £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
25 days annual leave, with the option to buy up to an additional 10 days.
