Package: £45k - £50k
Location: Bristol (hybrid working possible)

Job type: Full Time (PT possible minimum 3 days spread over 5 days)

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a self-motivated and diligent Management Accountant to support their plan to become a commercially sustainable driving force in the social, environmental, and economic development of the region.

Management Accountant - The Role
Your key role will be to provide financial support to the business, maintaining accounting records and keeping everything up to date.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review monthly management accounts and prepare quarterly reporting;
- Assist with the preparation of the annual business plan and budget;
- Cashflow management and forecasting;
- Produce Investor reports;
- Cost centre and budget management;
- Assist with grant application and reporting;
- Manage the outsourced bookkeeping function;
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
- Administer the company’s bank accounts and borrowing facilities;
- Manage the insurance renewal process;
- Review internal controls;
- Ensure all statutory financial compliance requirements are met;
- Support the preparation of the year end statutory accounts and liaise with the auditors;
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects.
The Successful Applicant
As Management Accountant you will be a part qualified or qualified accountant (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least three years working in a finance department. Consideration will be given to someone looking for their first move out of an accountancy practice.
Ideally you will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and report writing skills;
- A passion for driving social change in the community;
- Self-starter with can do attitude;
- Well organised and excellent attention to detail;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Financial services experience desirable;
- Xero experience desirable;
- Ability to advise on VAT desirable;
- Strong commercial acumen.
