Form of workA multidisciplinary property consultancy are looking to take on a Management Accountant to assist them with student accommodation reporting, based from their Bristol office with weekly travel to Bath.
The Management Accountant Responsibilities
The client manage around 1,000 student rooms across Bristol and Bath and need an efficient Management Accountant to take ownership with financial reporting on these.
- Ensure financial data is maintained in the property management system and accounts software is up to date and accurate
- To produce client arrears reports as required
- Monthly reporting to Lettings Senior Credit Controller and Lettings Services Manager
- Reconciliation of tenancy accounts - liaising with Government Agencies as necessary
- Critical analysis of costs
- Review unposted receipts, investigate and resolve any unidentified items
- Reconciliation of Expenditure
- Production of OPEX costs
- Weekly payment runs for sign off
- Utility contract management
- Weekly travel to Bath to liaise with the rest of the finance team
In Return…
£35,000 - £40,000
- 25 days annual leave however 3 days need to be used during Xmas shut-down period.
- 3 days leave can be brought or sold per year.
