The Role: As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for analysing financial information and implementing effective strategies to enhance overall business performance. Their main areas of responsibility will include:

• Providing timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
• Promoting best financial practice and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Developing and delivering practices and policies to ensure financial security.
• Responding to queries from stakeholders in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Supervising and motivating staff within the Finance Team.
• Contributing to the development of departmental strategies and business cases.
• Identifying opportunities for service improvement and increased efficiency.
• Leading the annual budget and planning process.

About You: To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Highly motivated individual with the ability to develop professional relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good knowledge of financial practice, procedure, and regulations.
• Competent at keeping accurate records and interpreting financial data.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Capable of working unsupervised on small projects.
• Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and databases.
• Willingness to learn new systems, including SAP.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar financial role.
• Part-qualified Accountant
