SalaryTrinity House Group are currently working with an award winning, high performing business who are recruiting for an individual to join them as a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role is based just outside of Leicester and is on a hybrid basis (3days in the office).
This role is responsible for delivering and maintaining the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of the management reporting and internal control environment of the business including annual audit and statutory accounts.
Key Duties, Management Accountant, £55,000- £65,000+5k car allowance & bonus Leicestershire
- Manage and develop a team of assistant accountants, working alongside the Business Partners, Treasury, Vehicle and Transactional finance teams.
- Manage and deliver the management and statutory accounts for the group - Liaising with External auditors and dealing with audit matters.
- Ensure transactions are appropriately processed in the general ledger, including Deferred and Accrued income, prepayments, accruals and provisions.
- Ownership of the of balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee, maintain and develop the compliance and internal controls environment.
- Ensure group reporting data is delivered on time in full.
- Deliver timely (following timetables issued) and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including Board Reporting.
- Maintain and updating a monthly accounts process task list and timetable
- Manage any FRS developments, ensuring impact analysis is completed and required changes implemented in timely and controlled manner.
- Work with auditors and tax consultants for the group to ensure timely and accurate reporting, providing inputs as required.
Key Skills & Experience, Management Accountant, £55,000- £65,000+5k car allowance & bonus Leicestershire
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102 an advantage)
Strong data analytics with advanced excel and modelling skills
Strong communication with experience dealing with operations with strong commercial acumen.
Takes ownership and uses initiative to solve problems
Pro-active individual with a can-do attitude
