Location: Gloucestershire - based onsite initially, with homeworking flexibility thereafter
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Key aim of the role is the ownership of management accounts, standard costs, management and development of the Assistant Management Accountant, and participation in quarterly forecasting and annual budget setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Monthly Management accounts (plus 4x holding companies)
Supporting the Budgeting & Forecasting process for all entities
Cash control and cashflow forecasting for the three trading companies
Stock control (reporting & costing) across the group including consignment stocks
Working Capital management across the Group
ERP (EFACS) Super user
Management & mentoring/development of the Assistant Accountant
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
Demonstrable experience of stock / working capital management
Demonstrable experience of budgeting/forecasting
Strong IT skills especially Excel & ERP systems
Knowledge of EFACS desirable
