Management Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial transactions of the group
• Assist with monthly preparation and analysis of management accounts
• Management of purchase ledger function and review aged creditors
• Maintain the fixed asset register including monthly depreciation calculations
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Management for petty cash for the group including onsite audits
• Work with external auditors during the annual audit
• Maintenance of cash flow forecasting by company
• Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, auditors companies house
• Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
• Ability to develop the role and improve analysis, reporting and financial support and training to internal customers

Skills and experience required:

• Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or AAT looking for progression in industry
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounting role
• Previous experience preparing management accounts
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible attitude to work
• Positive nature
