Management Accountant B2B SaaS Central London (Hybrid - 1 day in the office)
Harmonic are delighted to partner with a SaaS scale-up in their search for a Management Accountant to join their Central London office.
The business operates in the B2B SaaS & mobile app development space, working with some of the best-known global brands in the Sports and Gaming industry. With ambitious plans for continued double digit yearly growth, it's an exciting time for an ambitious Management Accountant to join this entrepreneurial Tech business.

The Role:
As Management Accountant reporting into the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the businesses scaling plans. In this varied role, you'll have exposure across the whole finance function with scope to progress by taking on more responsibilities as the business expands. Day to day, you'll have ownership of the financial and management reporting and will support the FD with the budgeting and forecasting process. In this commercially-focused role, you'll also collaborate with non-finance departments to analyse project profitability and pricing for new product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accurate delivery of financial reporting and month-end tasks, backed by qualitative analysis and preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Identify opportunities for automating and enhancing accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Contribute to the creation of annual budgets and track variations against actual figures.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to assess project profitability and analyse data to provide valuable financial insights to management.
- Develop financial models to assess sales opportunities, product development choices, and potential risks.
- Establish and oversee reporting on key business performance indicators.
- Simplify processes to facilitate revenue recognition and cost accruals.
- Compile and submit HMRC returns, including VAT and Corporation Tax, including R&D tax credits.
- Provide support during the annual audit process and associated tasks.
What we need to see (Essential):
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or Finalist.
- Experience in SaaS or Tech industry with an understanding of key KPI's and revenue models.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across the business.
- Capable of performing effectively under pressure in a fast-paced commercial setting, meeting tight deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + strong benefits package
