Management Accountant - Hybrid Working

Elevation Senior Finance are partnering with a fast-growing PE backed business in Burton upon Trent that operates in the renewable energy sector, as they look to recruit a Management Accountant for their team.
This is an exciting time to join the business, with a strong ownership and ambitions to continue to grow the business. This opportunity will suit an Accountant who has proven experience within Management Accounts.
They require an Accountant who is able to lead the management reporting for a key part of the business, as well as developing and improving processes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of the P&L and balance sheet
- Preparation of month-end management accounts
- Produce commentary and Board pack
- VAT return
- Support the year-end process including liaison with auditors
- Provide support to department heads
- Review and develop / improve existing processes
- Management of an Assistant Management Accountant

Key skills / qualifications:
- Qualified / qualified by experience
- Demonstrable experience in management accounts
- Ability to make improvements to processes
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of Sage 50 preferred but not essential
