Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent and outstanding career opportunity within a dynamic, friendly and professional firm in Stoke on Trent who due to continued business success are now seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager/Supervisor to lead their small payroll team working on a HYBRID basis. Previous experience within a similar role at Manager or Supervisor level, undertaking full end to end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients ideally within an accountancy/bureau/umbrella environment processing and overseeing multiple payrolls.
Your New Role as Payroll Manager/Supervisor:
Working within a small payroll team undertaking and overseeing full end to end Payroll processing for weekly/fortnightly monthly/four weekly payrolls for a varied portfolio of both SME and larger clients, using SAGE
Solid experience in payroll processing dealing with high volume payrolls at various intervals to be able to high the ground running
Indepth understanding of payroll legislation
Auto enrolment pension processing
Knowledge of EPS/FPS and RTI with HMRC
Dealing with SSP/SMP.
Processing of new starters/leavers, P45/P46''s
Liaison with and experience of dealing with HMRC queries
Daily interaction and liaison with team, clients, employees regarding payroll/tax queries
Software knowledge of ideally of SAGE (training is provided)
Person Specification
Ideally CIPP qualified with previous payroll processing experience within a similar Payroll Manager/Supervisor role processing and overseeing multi payrolls for monthly/weekly/four weekly ideally within an accountancy/bureau
Confident and friendly communication/telephone manner with clients
Able to supervise a small small team
