The role in more detail:
- Management of the accounts team
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Processing quarterly VAT returns
- Completion of month end and year end routines
- Preparation of cheques and CHAPS payments
- Checking conveyancing completion statements and processing transactions
- Compliance with all of the regulatory obligations including SRA and CQS
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a law firm with a good knowledge of compliance and solicitors accounts rules. You should be able to work independently and have a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work under pressure. An accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential.
