Management Accountant

Location: Pontypridd (On Site)
Artis are proud to be representing a leading food and drink manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products. There is now an opening for a Management Accountant to join the ever growing team. This role is on site 5 days a week. You will support the Financial Controller in monitoring and driving the financial performance of the plant.
The Role
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Technical close in SAP.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse production costs, overhead expenses, and pricing strategies to optimise profitability and cost efficiency.
- Upload monthly accounts (P&L / balance sheet), and additional KPIs for group consolidation team.
- Verify and align intercompany balances with Management Accountants of other plants.
- Managing, reviewing and monitoring the cost accounting process to control current and future operations
The Person
- You are CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE
- You have minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- You have good communication skills
- You have excellent knowledge of IT tools, including Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and/or Power BI is a plus
