Job title: Management Accountant
Location: Sussex (HQ is in Brighton)
Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust provides a broad range of high quality community services to the people of Brighton and Hove, West Sussex and East Sussex. The Trust has a turnover of £315m.The post holder will have experience of providing advice on financial management and corporate issues to non Finance managers, including advice on complex business plans and investigations and resolution of queries and errors. The post holder will have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial information with authority and clarity. They will be educated to A level standard and be CCAB finalist or newly qualified CCAB or equivalent experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant post within our award winning (and Level 3 Future Focused Finance accredited) finance team, supporting one of our main Operational Areas delivering a wide variety of community and sub-acute care in West Sussex.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial and staffing budgets and the financial reporting mechanisms of the teams; and ensuring the effective use of resources, which will involve close liaison with senior managers within the Area. This will include helping the teams to achieve year on year efficiencies and improve our clinical services.
