Management Accountant - Real Estate

Management Accountant - Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is a UK wide Real Estate investment and development company who, due to expansion are looking to add a Management Accountant to their prestigious accounts team.

THE ROLE responsibilities for the Management Accountant will include:

• Preparing management accounts for an allocated companies including profit and loss, balance sheets.
• Full review of trial balance.
• Producing financial statements on a quarterly basis.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly bank reports.
• Ensuring intercompany balances are reconciled monthly.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Responsible for producing the annual budgets.
• Preparing weekly cash forecasts.
• Ensuring debtor and creditor balances are reviewed monthly.
• Reviewing transactional bookkeeping.
• Preparing audit schedules.
• Business partnering; liaising with departmental manager to reflect business changes and impacting finance.

The person requirements for the Management Accountant are:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Property / Real Estate is essential and development / construction experience highly advantageous.
• Understanding of general accounting practices.
• Good interpersonal skills and demonstrable initiative.
• Strong system knowledge and understanding of ERP, PMS and accounting systems.
• Proficient in MS Office.
