SalaryI am pleased to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing consultancy in Central Cambridge who are looking to add an experienced Management Accountant to their small finance team.
Initially, you will join them on a temporary basis and over the next few months you will help cover a period of absence within the team and also support whilst they implement their new cloud based finance software. The role will likely evolve into a permanent position within the next 3-4 months.
They are looking for someone who is keen to progress within their finance career and that has the desire to move up into a more senior finance position in future. This position will give you the scope to grow and develop, and possibly take on some people management responsibilities as the team grows.
Your core duties will include
- Preparing income statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing and reporting on the company's financial performance
- Delivering financial data/reports to non-financial colleagues
- Supporting with general accounting tasks such as AP/AR/Payroll.
You will need to be near to completing your ACCA/CIMA studies, or be fully qualified and bring with you plenty of practical experience, preferably within an SME / start up business.
Hybrid working is available and you will be expected to work in the office 2-3 days a week. Their offices are in Central Cambridge and have no on site parking, but are close to the train station.
