My client is a global manufacturer and are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to joint the team and to support the UK Finance Function. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for a variety of tasks utilising both Financial and Management Accounting experience and principle responsibilities will include :
- Preparation and understanding of Monthly Management Accounts
- Liaising with accountants and auditors to ensure local compliance
- Preparation and co-ordination of payments
- Support branch declarations to relevant local authorities
- Support for payroll function
- Lead and co-ordinate the Forecast and Budget process
- Monthly preparation of VAT returns and compliance with HMRC.
- Continuous assessment of process and proceedures relating to the overall finance function
