Job Description
Management Accountant duties:
- Implement cost control measures and advise on cost reduction strategies.
- Investigate and explain significant variances between actual financial results and budgeted or forecasted figures.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets for revenue, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and current market trends.
- Generate and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making.
The Successful Applicant
As Management Accountant you will have the following:
- A relevant professional qualification: ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
- Proficient user of Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Outside the box thinker.
- Charity SORP knowledge
- Experienced working in a similar role.
