Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of permanent Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner based in Edinburgh with hybrid working paying up to £55,000 plus a good benefits package.

The Role

The position of Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner can be described as a hybrid role that will be split between BAU finance and commercial finance:
Commercial Finance:

• Aiding direction and decision making through financial analysis & Business Partnering
• Business partnering with non-financial and senior stakeholders including C-Suite
• Involvement in tendering and sales process including pricing, costing and profit protection
• Production and presentation of MI & monthly reporting packs
• Financial modelling
• Budgeting & forecasting

BAU Finance:

• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, & controls
• Annual audit preparation
• Ensuring a robust month-end close
• Balance sheet integrity & reconciliations
• Assisting with VAT returns
• Overseeing an Accounts Assistant performing transactional finance processing

It’s critical the successful individual has the capability and appetite to move into a finance management position with the future as the finance function needs to expand to facilitate the companies growth ambitions.
Value-Add Projects

The business have a number of exciting projects arising within the near future that the new Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner would get involved in including:

• M&A due diligence
• Integration – infrastructure, legalities, systems etc.
• Systems development – selection and implementation of new ERP system

We are keen to engaged with qualified Accountants that have BAU finance experience, and can demonstrate Business Partnering exposure – although finalists with a few exams remaining will also be considered.
