We are looking to recruit a Management Accountants Assistant who is ambitious, wants to progress and enjoys getting stuck into other tasks alongside their day-to-day accounting duties for a transport company in Bolton.
This Management Accounts Assistant role is going to offer lots of variety within an organisation that has 3 additional businesses that are really taking off alongside their established transport company.

What will you be doing as a Management Accounts Assistant?
This role will evolve as the businesses grows to take on more responsibility within the other projects and we are seeking individuals who want a long term career!!
Initial starting duties include:
- Dealing with the sales invoices - ensuring these are processed every day
- Updating the system with delivery information on completions
- Post the purchase orders onto Sage daily
- Reconcile the bank statements to the invoices and checking for any discrepancies
- Record and upload all fuel cards on a weekly basis for 7 drivers
- Process and upload the drivers weekly expenses
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Month End accounts to trial balance
- Balancing the accounts
- Ensuring that the books balance with all the statements
What skills and experience will you need as a Management Accounts Assistant?
- You have at least 3-5 years accounts experience across all ledgers and setting up accounts to trial balance - this is essential to be considered
- You love working in a real team environment
- Have an outgoing, enthusiastic and can do personality
- You have strong knowledge of VAT returns
- Are adaptable and love a role with variety and that can grow
- Experience of Management Accounts and/or CIMA Qualification
