CMA Recruitment Group is working with a multinational company in Totton who are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their busy Accounts team on an ongoing temporary basis. The role will oversee the sales ledger of the company, ensuring debts are paid in accordance with the relevant terms and resolve queries in a timely manner. This role will offer hybrid working with one day working from home.
What will the Credit Controller role involve?
• Carry out new account opening process including conducting the appropriate credit checks.
• Manage the collection of debts from customers.
• Send Customer Statements monthly and on an ad-hoc basis, as requested.
• Investigate customer queries and fully resolve any disputes.
• Liaise with the Key Account Managers on a regular basis to review accounts and share knowledge.
• Post Customer receipts onto Sage.
• Manage the invoicing facility portal through our finance provider.
• Prepare month end reconciliations of the ABL accounts.
• Assist with the production of the weekly debt reports and present to the Finance Director.
Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:
• Previous experience of maintaining a Sales Ledger essential.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Ability to communicate, respond to and successfully resolve queries from all stakeholders, both internal and external, including the ability to deal with problematic clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving.
• Keen attention to detail.
