About the role
Our Mortgage Intermediary telephone department have the opportunity for an experienced manager to join their leadership team.
This role plays a key part in our success by leading a team of telephone based mortgage Business Development advisors who’s customer service is recognised as being the best in the industry. Being passionate about coaching a team to develop the skills and knowledge that underpins our market reputation for providing fast, accurate, professional and friendly mortgage support will be key.
The role also includes being responsible for:
- Ensuring the highest level of service to Intermediaries / Brokers through the achievement of all service and quality measures.
- Creating an inclusive environment where staff are developed, supported and coached to achieve their personal goals
- Being an influential communicator at peer, stakeholder and business-to-business level
- Developing and maintaining an expert level of lending policy knowledge and commercial awareness, in order to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the whole mortgage process from marketing to underwriting procedures
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal departments.
About you
You’ll be passionate about leading others and will already have current or recent experience of managing people in a mortgage related environment. A strong understanding of mortgage policies, products and procedures will be essential and broker / intermediary background, would be advantageous. You’ll have experience of coaching and developing others with evidence of high standards of customer service.
You’ll be able to demonstrate where your experience has made a difference including the achievement of SLAs and quality standards. Having evidence of where you have persuaded and influenced others as well as strong communication skills, will be necessary.
After training this role operates on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days a week in our office in Binley, Coventry. If you feel you have the skills and experience then please do not delay in making your application.
