Managing Consultant for Public Sector, Based in London - £75,000-£85,000 + 20% bonus

Join this world leading Procurement and Supply Chain Consultancy as they seek a Manager level consultant to join their team, focussing on the Public Sector. You must have experience working within the Public Sector and must have experience in leading a team. You will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and share your knowledge, whilst making a difference within Public Sector bodies. You will bring innovative ideas to revolutionise the workings of significant procurement functions within the Public Sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Work on high-value projects within the Public Sector, working closely with key stakeholders, to lead the delivery of projects
• Analyse data to inform development and implementation of strategies, ensuring successful outcomes
• Bring forward innovative ideas to drive change within the Public Sector
• Be responsible for leading a team of more junior consultants

Key Requirements:

• Have proven experience working in procurement roles in central government
• Have a degree from a leading university, ideally within a relevant subject area
• Show a passion for Public Sector work, and the ambition to drive innovation to make a difference

You must:

• have a degree from a red brick university, within a relevant subject. CIPs/MCIPs is preferred but not required.
• Have proven experience working with Public Sector bodies, including but not limited to, general government and local councils
• Have experience leading a team

In return, this role offers a competitive salary of £75,000-£85,000 + 20% bonus and package.

You will work from home 3 days a week, and will be required to work from the London office or client site the remaining 2 days. This means that you have will have the flexibility to work around your life, whether that be having time go for a run, pick the kids up from school, or go for a drink after work.
