What You Will Do:
Managing Consultants are integral members of the Guidehouse consulting team. Our Life SciencesManaging Consultants are responsible for managing projects from cultivation to completion. Managing Consultants interface on a routine basis with clients and manage project teams on a day-to-day basis.
- Lead global Life Sciences projects on behalf of a broad set of clients
- Oversee the activities of the designated project team
- Lead the day-to-day management of the client relationship
- Develop and manage work plans including project milestones and budget
- Manage the production of deliverables and achievement of project outcomes
- Identify and manage project team
- Oversee and contribute to the analysis of the scientific, clinical, financial, and strategic information to discern the business implications of innovative technologies and emerging trends
- Oversee and contribute to the development of strategic insights for clients and the shaping of product and portfolio development decisions
- Oversee and contribute to the collection of information and synthesis of data, and extraction of meaningful insights from varied structured and unstructured sources
- Oversee and lead interviews with medical experts and key opinion leaders, capturing information in a succinct and cohesive format
- Oversee and contribute to the synthesis quantitative and qualitative research findings, developing robust analyses with actionable strategic recommendations for clients
- Prepare and participate in client presentations and client workshops preparation and execution
- Manage project risks and proactively communicate project issues internally and to the client
- Manage all project administrative activities and required documentation from project start-up through project completion
- Develop and communicate project status internally and with clients on a routine basis
- Coach and share knowledge with project team members and contribute to the team member's career development and progression
- Mentor junior colleagues
- Participate in Life Sciences practice development activities and firm-wide development initiatives
- Communicate on a routine basis with internal project leadership to share status and to collaborate on adding project value
- Support Life Sciences business development efforts including proposal development and client relationships

What You Will Need:
- Five to seven years of Life SciencesCommercial Strategy and operations consulting experience OR industry experience in relevant functions such as portfolio strategy, market access, launch and lifecycle management, and commercial operations
- Demonstrated project management experience and successful delivery of project outcomes
- Demonstrated team leadership including actively assessing team performance and providing real time feedback to ensure full contribution of the team to the project
- Demonstrated team management including coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex business issues succinctly and with impact
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, with a strong eye for detail, and a creative approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work with speed and accuracy
- High proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel and PowerPoint), including presentation and financial modelling
- Demonstrated experience and capabilities in business and client relationship development
- Demonstrated business maturity to perform effectively and add value to clients and the Life Sciences practice

Fluency in major languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Arabic) is an advantage

Travel is required for the role based on client demand. The successful candidate will report to an Associate Director within our EME (Europe and the Middle East) offices who will support the candidates overall professional growth and development.
