Manufacturing Engineer

Our client are a leading manufacturer currently looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to support them in their ongoing site investment.This Manufacturing Engineer position is a great opportunity for both junior and experienced Manufacturing Engineering professionals to join a dynamic and rewarding journey in an operation that's has superb facilities with ongoing investment plans. They investing in technology and developing best in class operations through a programme of ongoing investment.The role of the Manufacturing Engineer is to deliver continuous improvement and sustainable change to the manufacturing practices within the business, this will include Identifying and delivering innovative process changes as well as flow and layout design to facilitate effective and efficient introduction of new technologies and product lines whilst also ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes within the site including people, products, processes and machinery operations.You will work to develop and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing capability by analysing and recommending appropriate projects aligned with efficiency, cost reductions and quality measures.The Manufacturing Engineer will: Have a degree in an engineering discipline, and demonstrate some industry experience. Have experience working across departments and in the introduction of new processes to manufacturing operations. Be able to demonstrate a successful track record process improvement or NPI Projects. Show good awareness of lean tools and the use of tools such as Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Root Cause Analysis Methods Time Measurement (MTM), validation etc Have experience in identifying, scoping and delivering improvement projects through Ideally have experience in managing more than one project at the same time. An effective verbal and written communicator all levels of the organisation.
