Tees Rivers Trust is looking for an enthusiastic andmotivated Project Officer to join our dynamic team to deliver a programme of works to reintroducenative estuarine species and habitats in the Tees Estuary. The Project Officer will support theTrust team in a broad range of tasks including:
- Recreation of estuarine habitat through triallingthe restoration of native oysters, mussels, sea grass and seaweed farming
- Leading on the designand implementation of estuarine restoration projects
- Mapping habitat suitability for speciesrestoration
- Undertaking survey and monitoring requirements on selected sites.
The individual weare looking for will be an experienced team player with a strong aptitude for project delivery.
Therole is full-time and involves some working out of our Tees Estuary Restoration Initiative (TERI)facility in Hartlepool and will have a competitive salary.
