Marine Electrical Electrician- Competitive Salary - Aberdeen
The Role
Are you an experienced electrical expert with a passion for marine engineering? Do you possess the skills to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems on vessels? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are a multi-disciplined service provider within the marine industry, looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Marine Electrical Electrician to our growing team.
As a Marine Electrical Electrician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems on various marine vessels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our team and to utilise your skills and experience within a well-established and respected marine organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of various circuit types, such as 24vdc, 110v, 220v, 440v, and 3-phase circuits.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
Expertly running, dressing, and terminating cables throughout the vessel.
Ensuring all activities align with our organisational Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
Fault finding experience would be advantageous.

The Person
Fully time served with a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred within the marine shipbuilding industry, although electrical experience gained within other environments would also be considered.
Must be able to read electrical drawings.
Be willing to work away from home for periods at a time as the need arises.
Willing to learn new skills.
Be willing to work overtime when required.
Be willing to cover an on-call system when required.
Good communication skills.
Able to multitask with good attention to detail.
