Marine Electrical Technician –Competitive Salary– Aberdeen

The Role

Are you skilled in Marine Electrical engineering, ready to tackle diverse and challenging projects? Do you have the expertise in handling electrical systems on marine vessels?

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Marine Electrical Technician to join our professional and growing team at Marine Electrical Engineering LTD. This role involves a wide range of tasks in Marine Electrical engineering, covering most of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of various circuits including 24vdc, 110v, 220v, 440v 3 phase circuits, and cabling through vessels.
  • Fault finding on main switchboards, generators, and control and automation circuits.
  • Managing power generation and distribution with AC and DC circuits, generators, and battery sources.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  • Willingness to work away from home as needed and participate in overtime and on-call duties.

The Person

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Marine Electrical engineering (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
  • Ability to multitask with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driving license and the right to work in the UK.
