Job description

Swarm Recruitment is working with IFF Research to help find 2 Level 4 Market Research Apprentices

About IFF Research

IFF is a social and Market Research agency, which means they design research to understand more about the issues that are affecting the UK so that better decisions can be made about what to do, and how to solve problems.  IFF don’t research products like chocolate or washing powder, their research is nearly all related to government policy.

IFF works in several areas, including education, the environment, health and wellbeing, housing, and finance. Many of their clients are Government departments, but they also conduct research for charities, universities, housing providers, and some businesses like banks. Each research project that IFF do is very different, as they are trying to answer different questions each time.  So, working with IFF Research means you will always be doing something different and learning something new.

IFF’s work covers the whole research process, they design each research project from scratch, then design questionnaires, interview people, analyse the data and write reports and presentations to explain their findings.

Here are some examples of the sorts of research that IFF have done:

  • Research to understand whether disabled people feel their local sports centres are accessible for them
  • Research to understand whether people who are coming up to retirement age, know how to apply for their pension
  • Research to understand how businesses feel about new tax laws Research to understand whether new schemes to help parents engage with their babies are working
