8am-4pmFull-time52 Weeks, with 20 days annual leave(plus all statutory Bank Holidays)Your new schoolBoth Wilds Lodge and Gretton School welcome autistic children and young people aged from 5-19 years old, as weekly boarders or as day students. While every student at Gretton has a diagnosis of autism with the ability to achieve at high levels and every student is different, Wilds Lodge School accepts children and young people with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and with a program of positive reinforcement and a tailored approach, each child can flourish and achieve their full potential. As autism and SEMH specialists, we understand that consistent daily routines and staffing helps to keep anxiety at a minimum and ensures that our students feel safe and confident in their surroundings. We have a high staff to student ratio and classes are small and personal - we know each of our students really well and employ the best strategies to support them in their everyday school life.Your new roleWe are seeking to appoint a Marketing Administrator to join our team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for all marketing activities within school, including website management, school advertising, school open days, social media content and delivery, newsletters (internal and external) and marketing materials, including articles and news content. Please note that this role is to work across two schools within the Newcome Schools Group, but be based at Gretton School in Cambridgeshire.Main dutiesCreating and disseminating external communications, including writing copy as well as coordinating and proof-reading content from other staffCreating and disseminating internal communications (eg. parents, school and group wide)Creating and monitoring the schools' communication planBranding (complying with the Newcome Education brand guidelines to ensure the correct use of logos/fonts/colours on all marketing materials, displays, signage, etc)Plan and create content for the schools' social media accounts, taking into considering national/international themed weeks/schools events in line with the schools' aims and objectivesCreating and posting regular, relevant and interesting posts that encourage two way interaction with key audiencesOrganise giveaways, staff clothing, branded items etcOrganising school events (open days, professionals events, overseeing the look and feel of the presentation of the school, being the 'eyes and ears' of branding/marketing)Lead on Gretton and Wilds Lodge Schools weekly newsletter, which includes creating templates and content and taking photos, coordinating and proofreading content and photos from others, distribution, monitoring uptake/readership, making recommendations for future format and content changesWebsite - creation, maintenance and proofreading of content, to ensure it is up to date, compliant and dynamicMonitoring website performance using google analytics, and making design and usage recommendations to ensure high visibilityMaintaining the school prospectus, reviewing and creating content and coordinating professional photographers as requiredMaintain list of external stakeholders and ensure regular communicationSeeking out ways for school promotion, such as awards and press releases; making recommendations to SLT, producing copy, collating and proofreading content from othersUnderstanding the landscape of SEND education comparing what other schools are doing, looking for new and innovative ways to promote the school and our messageFinding opportunities for expert voice opportunities for staff (written or speaking) (or responding to requests from Cavendish Education for such)Ability to take photos for newsletter and around school for social media use (not prospectus or website)Develop and maintain a strand of marketing and communication specifically relating to commissioning professionals in Local Authorities who commission spaces within the schoolsSupport the development and maintenance of marketing and targeted campaigns to Local Authorities who have either lapsed in their use of the schools, or with whom new relationships require developmentCreatively support the schools in wider communication with stakeholders, but in particular parents, who may never be able to come to the school site, making them feel involved, heard and seen.
