Marketing Advertising Executive Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of online advertising campaigns for small and medium sized home improvement businesses across the whole of the UK. Dependent on experience, you will also have the chance to support our large clients as required. You’ll be responsible for managing the process of taking an offer, advising on creative requirements, planning & development of the campaign (typically through Meta, but also Google Ads occasionally), launch of the campaign and then ongoing maintenance and advise on campaign performance to keep within relevant KPIs. You will also have the respect from the organisation to take the lead on your projects and recommend enhancements and changes to the strategy based on your findings.
Who are Kindling?
Kindling are a marketing agency based in Scotland who specialise in generating leads for home improvement businesses across the UK. Our commercial model is our USP to clients where we only charge when clients sell their services to the end customer. We’ve been going in one shape or another since 2020 and are now looking to scale our team further with UK based talent to allow us to deliver the best possible leads to our clients where we can then maximise our revenue from them selling to great leads.
Position in the organisation
You’ll report directly to the Founder of the business, this is a critical role for us and you will have full support from the business to make your time with us a huge success. You will regularly be given support and guidance by senior colleagues and you’ll have a personal development budget to help you learn as you earn!
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Design, build & launch campaigns primarily on the Meta platform to generate leads for our clients who will then take the data, set appointments and sell various services and products.
- Work as part of a team or on your own taking responsibility for projects throughout their lifecycle and taking onboard input from senior members of the team.
- Helping to analyse trends and find insights and actions in the large amounts of data at our disposal.
- Support the account management function with client reporting, statistics, and opportunities.
- Able to attend and when appropriate lead client meetings for small and medium-sized accounts, often as part of the wider team and with more senior support.
You will require the following skills
- Good, demonstrable understanding of paid social advertising across the Meta platform.
- Creative thinking when faced with a problem to identify the issues and suggest actions.
- Understanding of online marketing, and the relationship between various disciplines.
- A great attitude towards learning and developing best practices.
