Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a continually growing construction consultancy based in Birmingham. They are looking for a Marketing and Bid Writing Co-ordinator to join their team. This role has weekly/bi-weekly travel to London (paid for).
The duties and responsibilities of a Marketing and Bid Writing Co-ordinator include (but are not limited to):

• Provide support to the Partners of the business in the delivery of the organisation's marketing plan.
• Act as support lead on specific tenders, capability statements and materials needed for client BD meetings. This involves initial scoping, drafting and project managing the process to completion, often to tight deadlines.
• Lead on drafting and promoting social media (Twitter and LinkedIn accounts), thought leadership pieces (in tandem with technical writers) social pieces and wider industry / client promotion of the company brand.
• Translating the firm-wide client strategy into a pragmatic local approach by utilising the whole marketing mix.
• Ownership of competitive products and services including pitches, RFP's, client presentations and other BD documentation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A base understanding and knowledge of the Bid Writing process.
• Experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
• Evidence of contributing to a marketing strategy and having a sizeable responsibility in its execution with results-based analysis.
• Previous use of the Adobe InDesign package.
• The ability and confidence to proactively liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders.
