Our progressive and growing client, who has an impressive track record within their industry is looking for a self-motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager with a range of online and offline duties. Working as part of a successful and supportive team in an environment where excellence is at the forefront of everything they do, you will be encouraged to develop your skill set and take ownership of tasks to reach your career potential.

Your responsibilities as a Marketing Assistant will include but are not limited to:

• Social media management, including writing content, sourcing, and designing supporting imagery.
• Scheduling and monthly reporting.
• Keeping the website up-to-date by writing copy, re-sizing images and uploading material.
• Assisting with the design, production and tidying up of marketing documents and templates.
• Distributing any press releases and maintaining a tracking report.
• Periodic reporting including PR monitoring, competitor analysis, social media etc.
• Managing photography across the business including taking staff photos, organising and maintaining a comprehensive photo library.
• Liaising with web designers and printers where needed.
• Proofreading and editing copy.
• Supporting with the brainstorming and delivering of new campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager.
• General ad-hoc administration when needed.

To be a successful Marketing Assistant you must have:

• Ability to use InDesign.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Experience of managing a company’s social media account.
• A keen eye for detail, applying accuracy to your work consistently.
• A willingness to take ownership of a variety of tasks.
• A creative flair, both in design and writing.
• Confidence to chase senior stakeholder for required information.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a team, supporting others when necessary.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office as well as a Content Management System.
• An interest in photography would be advantageous.
• Th ability to use Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Canva.
